MATOPE

What an amazing sight as we drove up to the meeting place! The women and children were sitting under the trees singing while they were waiting for us.  As we stopped, they all got up, carried on singing and each one of them greeted each one of us.  We presented “the hope of africa” to them and were amazed at the willingness of the people to join us in our vision. Leaders were chosen and groups were formed and they are so excited to start the project. The pastor informed us that they are in the process of purchasing a piece of land from one of their members to build their own church, could we come and have a look at the land and pray together.  To our amazement, there was a beautiful tree standing tall and proud so we asked if this tree is included in the plot of ground being purchased, the lady selling the ground said no! We pointed to the logo on our shirts and asked her to reconsider and prayed with her. A few days later we heard that she called for ps ruth to visit her as she could not sleep, she needed to talk about extending the property to include the tree in the property for sale.  A miracle from god!

Humility and cry for help I felt from them. One could sense the yell for help from within them. Many of the members came for prayer, trusting God for breakthrough and believing the project will bring the change they need to improve mostly their financial world
